The Steps to Installing Air Conditioning

1. Before Installation
Contact an air conditioning specialist to provide you with a free quote. The quoting process includes an onsite visit to assess your home or office layout. Factors such as building layout, room sizes, orientation, insulation, windows, and number of people will determine which type and size of air conditioner is recommended to be installed. You can discuss the various options available and confirm which system you prefer, based on the features that you want and your budget.

In order to provide an accurate quote, your air conditioning specialist will check the outside layout of your building to confirm the labour and materials required to complete the installation. The last thing to discuss is your preferred payment option – cash, credit and interest free finance are available.

You will receive a quote that shows an itemised fixed price on all parts and labour, along with the scheduled start date for the job. Upon acceptance of the quote, your job can begin!

2. During installation
Before your air conditioning installer arrives, it helps to tidy up the work area and clear an access path. You can leave the rest up to the experts!

Your air conditioner will be installed to Australian Standards and thoroughly tested to ensure that the piping, refrigerant charge and airflow is all correct and balanced.

Part of the installation process is cleaning up. All waste materials are removed and work areas are left neat and tidy. Inevitably there will be some dust created throughout the installation process which will require vacuuming.

3. After installation
You will receive a comprehensive run down of features and learn how easy it is to operate your new air conditioner, including how to clean your air filters. You will receive an operation manual and warranty information. The only thing left to do is sit back and enjoy your new air conditioning system in total comfort.
